Wolkonowski joins NSCC staff

Jennifer Wolkonowski has joined Nashville State Community College (NSCC) as its new institutional research analyst. She will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, maintaining and disseminating official institutional data. This information is provided to both internal and external constituents in order to describe, document and measure institutional effectiveness.

Wolkonowski previously worked for the Tennessee Board of Regents Online Degree Program, and also for the Tennessee Technology Centers. She has experience with registration and enrollment, institutional research, IPEDS, student advisement and database management.

Wolkonowski received her B.S. in psychology from Middle Tennessee State University.

Potter named for position at NSCC

Laura Potter has accepted the coordinator of recruitment position at Nashville State Community College (NSCC). Her duties include planning, managing, and coordinating enrollment management functions for the admissions office, in addition to communicating with individuals, high schools, and business officials to promote and market enrollment management initiatives, college entrance requirements, ACT testing, and other assessments for college admission.

Before coming to NSCC, Potter worked as a group sales coordinator for Nashville Shores. She graduated with a B.S. from Lipscomb University.

Laster promoted at NSCC

Polly Laster has been promoted to accounting payroll clerk II at Nashville State Community College. Her duties include reconciling payroll liability accounts using spreadsheets and databases, maintaining leave records and compiling monthly reports on balances to distribute to employees.

Laster has been employed at NSCC for 23 years and has worked in Student Services, Financial Aid, Admissions and the Technology Department.
