Crye-Leike names Lockhart manager

Crye-Leike Realtors has named Cindy Lockhart branch manager of its Green Hills office. She will oversee day-to-day management and operations of the branch and sales team. Prior to joining Crye-Leike, Lockhart was an affiliate broker with Fridrich & Clark Realty in Nashville. She had been with the firm for 10 years.

Belmont professor elected to Publix board

Jane B. Finley, Belmont University Deloitte & Touche professor of accounting, has been elected to the Publix Super Markets board of directors. She will be a member of the audit committee.

Finley has taught at Belmont since 1995, serving as associate dean of the graduate business program and coordinator of the accounting programs. Previously, Finley was a partner at Deloitte Consulting, CFO of Miami International Airport and an auditor and consultant with Peat Marwick.

Wachovia lures BofA wealth managers

Wachovia's wealth management unit has recruited Danielle Lares-Bouharoun and two other senior bankers to its newly formed Nashville Entertainment group. Lares-Bouharoun has been named senior vice president and senior relationship manager. Previously, she was a former senior VP at Bank of America.

Joining Lares-Bouharoun at Wachovia Wealth Management are Senior Vice President Bradley Gallimore and Vice President Linda Payne. They were previously vice president and assistant VP, respectively, at Bank of America.

Grubb broker named to national list

Arthur Perlen, a retail specialist at Grubb & Ellis|Centennial, was recently named one of the top brokers in the company’s national network for 2008. It’s the fifth time Perlen has been included in Grubb’s Circle of Excellence Awards.
