Roddey, Taylor join Regions Bank

W. David Roddey, formerly with Bank of America, has joined the Nashville office of Regions Bank as senior vice president, private banking. Roddey has more than 30 years of experience in commercial banking, with an extensive background in private banking, trust management and commercial lending. His career dates back to Bank of America's predecessor, Commerce Union.

Andrew Taylor recently joined Regions as a private banker. He was formerly employed by Compass Bank in Birmingham as a personal banking officer. Taylor, who also worked as a financial sales consultant for PNC Regional Bank, is a graduate of Yale University.

McKendree Village hires Ollio as COO

Donald D. Ollio Jr. has joined the staff of McKendree Village as chief operating officer of the continuing care retirement community, which is home to more than 650 senior adults. Ollio previously was vice president and chief financial officer for Pittsburgh Lifetime Care Community, doing business at Sherwood Oaks, in Cranberry Township, Pa.

Ollio has more than 18 years of experience, all focused on working with continuing care and health care organizations. His experience includes serving as manager of subsidiary finance for the various subsidiaries of Pittsburgh Mercy Health System Inc.

Ollio has a B.S. degree in business administration from Robert Morris University and has been a volunteer continuing care accreditation commission evaluator.

Pinnacle taps Smith, Powell to run offices

Pinnacle Financial Partners, the largest Nashville-based financial institution, has named long-time financial services professional Mary Corbitt Smith as senior vice president and office manager for the firm's Donelson office, which is projected to open mid-2006.

Smith, with 16 years of experience in the local market, was most recently Donelson market manager for SunTrust. Prior to that, she was SunTrust's city president in Lebanon. Smith was formerly business banking manager for SunTrust's Midstate area.

Smith will work from Pinnacle's West End office until the Donelson location is open.

In addition, veteran financial services professional Tyane Powell has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as manager of the firm's Franklin office.

Powell has more than 25 years of local banking experience. Most recently, she served as a banking center manager at Fifth Third Bank/Franklin National Bank. Prior to that, she was a branch manager for First American/AmSouth.

Powell holds series 6 and 63 licenses. She is a graduate of Tennessee State University and completed a two-year program through the Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt.
