One of the burning questions during BlogNashville, a recent gathering of some 300 bloggers at Belmont University was: Can or should blogs make money? The only clear reply was that the early settlers in the blogosphere have yet to come to a consensus.
There are at least 60 blogs listed at nashvilleistalking.com, an informal directory of Nashville-related blogs sponsored by WKRN-TV Ch 2. And www.technorati.com claims there are almost 10 million blogs out in the blogosphere.
Some people see blogging as a new business model for the 21st century. And it seems so easy: Keep a daily diary of your life, express your opinions, share your knowledge, reveal your dreams, do it from anywhere in the world on a computer, have fun, and maybe, just maybe, make money at it.
