eDoc4u adds senior VP of business development

eDoc4u has added Gary Peat as senior vice president of corporate and business development.

Peat will provide strategic leadership and support, including sales and business development, financial strategy and marketing.

Previously, Peat was general partner of Council Capital, a venture capital and private equity firm focused on growth-stage health care investments. Peat has spent 20 years as an early stage venture investor, with most of that time focused on improving quality and reducing long-term health care cost by investing in information technology companies that drive health care innovation.

"Gary brings a wealth of experience in healthcare investment, business and technology, and hyper-growth company building,” Rich Smith, president of eDoc4u, said in a release. “His expertise will help broaden our client base within healthcare organizations, but also ensure that we effectively execute on both current and newly emerging opportunities."

Peat’s addition follows eDoc4u’s recent winning of the Allscripts Open App Challenge

eDoc4u is a division of locally based ConduIT Corp.

Churchill Mortgage adds eight

Churchill Mortgage, has added eight employees to its branches in Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

In Brentwood, Churchill has added Gina Mireles and Charlotte Jack as underwriters. In addition, Lee Dozier joins as a home loan specialist, Karla Bailey joins as a set up administrator, Bradley Gore joins as a software engineer and Santiago Leon joins as a computer technician. Marcheta Claus also joins, bringing more than 15 years of experience to Churchill’s sales support team.

Bell & Associates adds two

Bell  &  Associates  Construction has hired Dustin  Crouch as  preconstruction manager  and  Slayden Johnson  as  project engineer.  

Formerly  an  employee  of  KBR  Building Group,  Crouch’s  previous  project  history includes  the Duke  Cancer  Center  in Durham,  N.C. and  the  FBI Field  Office in  Denver.

Johnson is  currently  serving as  the project engineer  for  the  Lentz  Public Health Building, which Bell &  Associates is constructing  for  HCA.

Westbrook joins Sony Music Nashville

Sony Music Nashville has hired Sarah Westbrook as director, marketing. Westbrook will be responsible for the strategy, development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns for her assigned artists, which includes the Arista Nashville roster.

Most recently, Westbrooke was vice president of marketing for Soul by Ludacris, where she oversaw marketing communications programs — from digital advertising and PR  to social media and artist endorsements — for the company’s popular brand of consumer audio products. 

Advance Financial welcomes community outreach VP

Advance Financial has hired Shantrelle Edmondson as vice president of community outreach.

Edmondson, the former executive director of the Eighteenth Avenue Family Enrichment Center, will oversee grant giving, community engagement and the creation of volunteer opportunities for the Advance Financial staff.

Global Integration adds consultant 

Global Integration has appointed Dan Spatz as an associate consultant. Spatz will be based in Franklin.

Spatz joins Global Integration from Mars, Inc. Most recently, he served as an integration director for Mars Russia, where he led major improvement initiatives in marketing, logistics, supply planning, customer service and procurement. Spatz will offer GI consulting services in English and Russian. 

Spatz holds a master's degree in foreign service, with honors in international business diplomacy, from Georgetown University.

Regions Insurance expands Nashville operations with hires

Regions Insurance Inc., an affiliate of Regions Bank, announced today the addition of Kevin S. Hagan as vice president and Beth Lucero as assistant vice president.

The pair will supervise the property and casualty insurance line for Regions in the Nashville market.

“The dynamic and diverse business community in Nashville requires an insurance broker that provides the service and resources that anticipate and meet those unique needs,” Mark Forrester, Regions Insurance of Tennessee CEO, said in a release. “Kevin and Beth bring us significant talent and experience that complements our existing staff. We look forward to adding additional sales and account management professionals to our team as we are committed to growing our business across Tennessee.”

Hagan comes to Regions Insurance from Willis of Tennessee. Prior to that, he served as president of Aon Risk Services of Tennessee. Hagan is a member of the Nashville Healthcare Council and was most recently named chairman of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce’s P2020 Economic Development Committee.

Lucero most recently served as vice president of risk management at Renal Advantage. Prior to that, she served as senior account executive/client service manager in the Nashville office of Aon Risk Services. She also held a similar position with First Horizon Insurance in Nashville.

Regions Insurance bills itself as ranking among the 25 largest insurance brokers in the United States and the fifth largest insurance broker based in the Southeast.
