Benedict joins Guy Brown as regional sales VP

Emily Benedict has joined Brentwood-based office products company Guy Brown Products Inc. as regional sales vice president.

Benedict is responsible for the company’s Midwest region, including various Fortune 100, health care and higher education customers.

Benedict spent more than 13 years with OfficeMax. She was the company’s 2010 District Sales Manager of the Year for the U.S. and received the 2012 Tennessee Minority Supplier Development Council Impact of the Year Award.

Benedict is a graduate of Western Michigan University.

Sea Gayle Music adds GM

Sea Gayle Music has hired Marc Driskill as executive vice president and general manager.

Driskill, who will oversee SGM operations, previously served ASCAP Nashville as vice president and general manager.

Driskill served ASCAP songwriter and publisher members for more than 10 years and, with his music publishing experience, has been a part of the Nashville music industry almost 14 years. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Academy of Country Music and the Music City Music Council.

Dickinson Wright adds member

Dickinson Wright PLLC has added attorney Keith C. Dennen as a member of its Nashville office.

Dennen concentrates his practice in the areas of health care law, intellectual property law, estate and probate, employment law, corporate and transactional law and litigation.

He is a member in the Nashville Bar Association, the Sumner County Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.

Dennen received his B.B.A. from the University of Memphis and his J.D. from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, University of Memphis.

Nashville Lifestyles names managing editor

Erin Byers Murray has been named managing editor of Nashville Lifestyles magazine.

Murray replaces Stephanie Stewart, who recently stepped down to pursue other interests.

Most recently, Murray served as the Boston editor of DailyCandy.com. A former staff writer for Boston magazine, she has extensive experience covering lifestyle, food, dining, travel and fashion for regional and national publications both in print and online. She is the author of Shucked: Life on a New England Oyster Farm, which focuses on her experience working alongside oyster farmers on the Massachusetts coast.

Murray is a regular contributor to Food & Wine, and her work has been featured in publications such as the Boston Globe, Yoga Journal, Edible Boston, Boston Common and The Atlantic online.

Haven Behavioral Healthcare adds executive VP, COO

Haven Behavioral Healthcare has brought Scott Kardenetz on board as its executive vice president and chief operations officer.

Most recently, Kardenetz worked as divisional vice president in the Nashville office of Universal Health Services, overseeing facilities with annual revenues of $300 million. He also has held a similar role at Ardent Health Services.

Haven Behavioral is a provider of behavioral health care for adults, senior citizens and active-duty military personnel. The company runs seven facilities in Arizona, Colorado, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
