Emma hires Brown

Kevin Brown has joined Emma, Inc., as director of marketing.

In 2009, Brown co-founded Rockhouse Partners, which Etix acquired in 2011. He is also a partner in Next BIG Nashville’s SoundLand.

Brown previously worked as director of strategic marketing at Ticketmaster’s Echo division and completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University.

ACS Advertising announces promotions 

ACS Advertising has promoted eight team members.

Erin Young was promoted to vice president of account management, and Lori Furnell was promoted to vice president of business development. Young will lead the client service team and the management of all accounts for the agency, and Furnell will lead business growth among existing clients.

Carol Poston was promoted to senior director of account management, and she will oversee account management for the agency. Shane Jackson and Kendra Rodgers were both promoted to account group director, and they will oversee and support the management of client service strategy for the agency’s client base. 

Carrie Wingate and Michael Schartung were both promoted to senior account executive, and they will manage client activity for ACS Advertising. Rina Giron was promoted to team leader and will direct the account coordinator team.

Collier and McKeel adds managers

Collier and McKeel has added two distillers to assist with production and fulfillment. Ryan Whitaker has joined as operations manager, and Justin Runyon has been named customer relations manager.

Whitaker worked in the restaurant industry while studying Spanish at Middle Tennessee State University and eventually became assistant brewmaster at Cool Springs Brewery in Franklin. 

Runyon previously owned and edited a history magazine that was distributed internationally. He has years of experience in brewing and distilling, including ales, ciders, wines and spirits. He studied history at Indiana State University.

Bridgestone Americas announces staff changes

Bridgestone Americas has announced that Tim Walsh, who previously served as corporate controller, has been named chief information officer for the company.

To support Walsh, the company is promoting Alan Lindsey to the position of vice president of information technology. Bill Thompson, who currently serves as west zone manager for Bridgestone Commercial Solutions, will succeed Walsh as corporate controller.

Walsh joined Bridgestone Americas in 1993, and has served as controller for the company’s tire division as well other financial leadership positions within the Americas, including general manager of group finance for Bridgestone Europe NV/SA in Brussels. Walsh has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee.

Lindsey has been a part of the Bridgestone Americas team for almost 14 years, beginning his career as a network system administrator. He has also served as director of information technology for the company’s building products and industrial products businesses. He is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and received his certification in leadership development from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Business.

Thompson joined Bridgestone Americas in 1996, and has served with the company’s retail, manufacturing and commercial tire groups. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from State University of New York at Stony Brook and his master’s degree in finance from Georgia State University.

Manning, Blines join Nashville Bank & Trust

Nashville Bank & Trust has added Patrick Manning as a credit analyst and Diana Blines as senior wealth management services assistant.

Prior to being hired at NBT, Blines worked as senior trust assistant at Regions Bank. He graduated in 2011 from Clemson University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in financial management.

In her new position, Blines will be focused on account administration, client service and compliance.
