Accomplished local photographer arrested on sexual battery, rape charges

Josh Anderson, an accomplished local photographer based in East Nashville, was arrested last Friday following an indictment on rape and sexual battery charges.

According to his website, Anderson's work has been on the cover of Newsweek and the New York Times, and in an advertising campaign for the Converse shoe brand. He previously worked at The City Paper and other local publications.

He is facing five counts of sexual battery, two statutory rape charges, and one charge of rape, according to the indictment.

Anderson, 36, remained in jail Monday on $150,000 bond. It was unclear if he had hired an attorney.
