An autopsy conducted Tuesday on the body of a man pulled from a Nolensville Pike business fire Monday showed no signs of foul play, according to Metro police.

Police believe the body is that of the owner of Well Done Bullets, a business at 4813 Nolensville Pike that erupted in a blaze Monday afternoon. A positive identification of the body, however, is pending.

The owner, according to police, was known to store gunpowder for reloading ammunition. He had a federal license to sell firearms but not to manufacture ammunition.

Metro police, citing a medical examiner’s report, said the victim died from burns and smoke inhalation.

Arson investigators, Metro police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
