Battered Commodores look to regroup at LSU

Inexperience and injuries are a double whammy few teams can shake.

Saturday night at Memorial Gym the combination proved to be too much for the Vanderbilt Commodores to overcome in a 81-68 loss to the No. 21-ranked Ole Miss Rebels in front of 11,667 fans. It marked the first time since the 1984-85 that the Rebels had won at Memorial and the first time since the 1991-92 season that the Commodores had lost their Southeastern Conference home opener.
