BellSouth moves to change tax structure

BellSouth is drafting a bill for the state General Assembly that would change the way businesses pay sales tax on long distance .

Businesses would pay more in sales tax on long distance service, but BellSouth, the local service provider, would lower its rates for those businesses to make the exchange
