Body found near Fourth Avenue South I-40 West entrance ramp

Metro police are investigating the discovery of a body found near Fourth Avenue South and an Interstate 40 West entrance ramp.

A call came into police at 1:48 p.m. Friday. Police said the body is that of an unidentified black male. There were no signs of foul play readily noticeable, authorities added. 

There is no word yet on how long the body had been at the site or how it got there.
