Cab driver shot, killed after being called to pick up fare

Metro police detectives are investigating the early Friday morning fatal shooting of a Yellow Cab driver in the 1500 block of 10th Avenue North.

Henry Moore, 69, of Kingston Street, was shot after being dispatched to pick up a fare at 10th Avenue North and Garfield Street.

After an unidentified suspect shot Moore, his cab crashed at the intersection of 10th and Garfield at about 2:40 a.m.

Police continue to investigate the killing.
