Clement files for governor's race

Fifth District U.S. Rep. Bob Clement filed a campaign document Tuesday at the State Registry of Election Finance.

The Bob Clement for Governor Committee named Jon Hastings treasurer. Hastings is an attorney with Boult Cummings Conners & Berry PLC.

The filing is the first step in establishing a campaign committee and allows Clement to accept money for the 2002 governor
