Martin, Bettie L. died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001. She is survived by daughter Virginia Iscimenler; two sons Homer and Ronald Martin; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister Joene Wilson; and brother Raymond Miller. Her remains are at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, where services will be conducted Wednesday, 11 a.m. by the Rev. Keith Cameron and the Rev. Carl Price. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mitchell, Lee Marvin
Mitchell, Lee Marvin, age 39, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001. Mitchell was a loving father, son and brother who was born on Sept. 3, 1961, at Methodist Hospital in Louisville, Ky. Predeceased by maternal grandfather John W. Gutermun and paternal grandfather Thomas Roy Mitchell and father Thomas Marvin Mitchell.
Lee is survived by his son Dillon Lee Mitchell, Linwood, Nj., mother Ruth G Faulk, Franklin Tn., sister Kristie Lee Jones, Lousiville, Ky., brother Thomas Roy Mitchell, Nashville, Tn., maternal grandmother Edna S. Gutermuth, Louisville, Ky.
Lee was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was employed by Sport Service. He attended Oak Mill School, Franklin Road Academy, The McCallie School, Chattanooga, Tn., and Middle Tennessee State University.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 13, from 12-2 p.m. in the Cheek House at First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Rd., with a memorial service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Oak Hill School, Capitol Funds Campaign for the Lee Marvin Mitchell Memorial Garden.
