Metro police detectives in the East Precinct are searching for the person responsible in the Wednesday morning fatal shooting of Quintin Johnson, 22, in the 1000 block of Chicamauga Avenue.
According to police, Johnson and Ronald Partee, 22, sat in a parked SUV outside a residence at 2:30 a.m. talking to the suspect when he shot into the SUV striking Johnson. Partee said the gunman then robbed him.
Partee said he then drove to a parking lot at 122 North Seventh St. where police were called. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police urge anyone with information on the person responsible for Johnson’s murder to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
