Early voting begins Friday for state primaries, school board races

Early voting for Davidson County’s August election — which includes a slate of state House and Senate primaries, and five school board races — begins Friday at 8 a.m.

The early voting period runs from July 13 through July 28 at the Davidson County Election Commission at the downtown Metro Office Building on Second Avenue. Voting will run until 4:30 p.m. on the first day of early voting and vary on other days.

The regular election is set for Aug. 2.

Satellite early voting locations will open July 23 and run through July 28. There are five satellite locations:
• Belle Meade City Hall, 4705 Harding Pike
• Bordeaux Library, 4000 Clarksville Pike
• Edmondson Pike Library, 5501 Edmondson Pike
• Hermitage Library, 3700 James Kay Lane
• Madison Library, 610 Gallatin Pike S.
