Early voting set for five district races involving runoffs

Early voting for Metro’s five still-undecided council races begins Friday and runs through Sept. 10.

The lone early voting site is the Davidson County Election Commission’s office inside the Metro Office Building on Second Avenue. Voting begins Friday at 8 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Times on subsequent days vary.

The runoff election date is Thursday, Sept. 15.

Outcomes of the following races are to be determined through the runoff:

• District 4 –– candidates Brady Banks and Dave Patterson

• District 5 –– candidates Scott Davis and Pam Murray

• District 6 –– candidates Dave Rich and Peter Westerholm

• District 13 –– candidates Marilyn Robinson and Josh Stites

• District 33 –– candidates incumbent Councilman Robert Duvall and Page Turner

I know nothing about Scott Davis, but I sure hope he wins!! Pam should just go back to Detroit!
