The Nashville Fire Department is seeking citizen help regarding who intentionally set a fire that damaged 15 south Nashville apartments last Friday night.
Fire investigators said Wednesday arson is to blame for the fire at 270 Tampa Drive at about 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 near Harding Place and Interstate 24. The two-alarm fire started in the basement and required treatment for three people at the scene.
Two others were transported by ambulance including a fireman who was injured when a wall collapsed.
The department is asking anyone with information about the fire or other fires in the area to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME or the Arson Hotline, answered 24 hours a day, at 1-800-762-3017. Cash awards are available for information leading to an arrest or conviction.
