The Fraternal Order of Police released results Monday from its vote of
confidence on Metro Police Chief Emmett Turner and the results were not favorable.
The vote was 79 percent against the chief; 20 percent in favor of his leadership. There was no indication of how many officers voted.
In response, Turner released a statement from the Metro Police department
that he was not considering retirement and the results of the vote would not
affect his ability to lead the department.
