The Centennial Cheerleaders will be competing in the ESPN National High School Cheerleading Tournament Feb.7-13. They will be competing in the medium varsity division, going up against 92 other teams.

This will mark the second consecutive year they have been in attendance. They finished last year, ranked 8th in the nation, and are the only team from Centennial High School that has returned with a national championship.

The High School Bowling State Tournament was held this weekend at Hermitage Lanes. In the girls division Mt. Juliet came in first, followed by McGavock, Hendersonville and Gallatin.

Hunters Lane won the open division for the third year in a row, followed by Mt. Juliet, Smyrna and Overton.
