Historic landmark overlay OK

The Metro Council approved on second reading last night a bill that would apply a historic landmark overlay on the Eakin and Cavert school buildings.

No fewer than 25 supporters of the bill, co-sponsored by council members Ginger Hausser, District 18, an Phil Ponder, District 12, attended the meeting, with seven speaking during the public hearing.
