I-40 reopens after fatal crash

Update: I-40 has reopened after a fatal crash Monday morning. One person died in the crash and two others were injured.

All westbound lanes of Interstate 40 are closed in Davidson County at mile marker 212.8 near Interstate 24.

A three-car crash was reported at 9 a.m. and is estimated to be cleared by 2 p.m., according the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Westbound traffic is being diverted, and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.

If the do gooders in Williamson county had not caused the delay it would probably have been finished by now. In their useless and selfish law suits that caused the delay I would assume that was the reason for killing the northern part, along with the economy. But you must also remember that the economy was booming while the lawsuits were slowing everything down.

I never comment on any of these articles or on the rude statements put out by people about them. However, I am totally appalled at the lack of compassion or sympathy for the person who lost their life in this accident, not to mention the ones who were injured. It is really sad that all the comments are about what an inconvenience this incident was to them...... How sad. May God forgive you....
