Kats' Sperduto assessing personnel after first look

Perhaps Nashville Kats coach Pat Sperduto summed it up best: There were players who showed they wanted their careers in the Arena Football League to continue and there were players who demonstrated that one game in a Kats uniform may have been one game too many.

But in the wreckage of Friday night's 40-18 debacle against the Los Angeles Avengers, which included the loss of rookie wide receiver-linebacker Corey Sullivan with a broken right ankle, the Kats could take solace in two things
