The Tennessee Lady Vols went on the road and remained unbeaten in the Southeastern Conference Sunday, routing the Alabama Crimson Tide, 97-75, to improve to 9-0 in league play.
Kara Lawson scored 17 points, leading six Tennessee players in double figures, as the No. 3-ranked Lady Vols improved to 23-1 overall.
Tennessee built an 11-point halftime lead (41-30) and was never challenged in the second half.
Other double figures scorers for the Lady Vols were Tasha Butts with 16 points, Gwen Jackson and Kyra Elzy with 11 points each and Semeka Randall and Ashley Robinson with 10 points each.
