Landmark .500 record in reach for hot Predators

A .500 season is becoming closer to a reality for the Nashville Predators.

With a 5-1-1 record in their last seven games, the Predators are 33-34-9-3, with three games left. The Predators moved within one game of .500 Saturday night with a 4-1 drubbing of the usually stingy Minnesota Wild, a first-year expansion team, in front of a sellout crowd at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.
