A Franklin man is recuperating after a bizarre lawnmower accident early Sunday morning on Carrolton Drive in the Rosemont subdivision, NewsChannel5 reports.

The man said he was mowing a steep embankment when the mower slid into the water and dragged him along too. His foot was stuck in the springs and bars on the mowing deck and the water was up to his neck.

He suffered a only broken ankle, but was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a precaution.

Almost drowned by a lawnmower.
Sounds like a redneck mafia hit gone wrong.

house, the redneck mafia is in Wilson and Smith Counties.

Too bad News Channel 5 wasn't on the scene with a camera when it happened. Or better yet, his wife with a video camera. Might have been a You Tube hit or made him some money on Funniest Home Videos.
