Man convicted in 2011 Nolensville Pike dragging death

A Nashville jury on Thursday convicted Raymundo Rodriguez of reckless homicide after he allegedly ran over and dragged 23-year-old Manuel Lucio-Lopez more than two miles through South Nashville in 2011.

The two men apparently got into a fight at a nightclub off of Nolensville Pike in March 2011. After Rodriguez left the club, he saw Lopez and struck him with his SUV.  Lopez was pinned under the vehicle and dragged 2.3 miles to Southlake Drive. Rodriguez attempted to dislodge Lopez, who was severely injured. Lopez died shortly afterward.

Rodriguez is scheduled to be sentenced on May 24.

First off, people like that who are found out to "Beyond a reasonable doubt"...I believe that however you kill your victim(s)...if you stab someone by stabbing them 12 times in the face, then THAT IS HOW "YOU" SHOULD DIE!! Then another question comes this clown "LEGAL"? If not, matters not, he needs to suffer the same fate as his victim!! PERIOD!!
