Metro Schools will stay closed Friday

Metro Nashville Public Schools will be closed again Friday due to frigid temperatures and icy conditions on Nashville streets, the district determined Thursday.

The threat of several inches of snow Thursday did not materialize, but enough fell to make driving treacherous as temperatures have dropped below freezing for several days.
