Metros soccer team seeking excemption to sell beer at park

Owners of the Nashville Metros professional soccer franchise are asking the Metro Parks Board for an exemption from a local ordinance that sets guidelines for the sale of beer in city parks. In effect, those guidelines, as currently written, prevent the franchise from selling beer at its games in Ezell Park.
