Murder suspect added TBI most wanted list

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added a 20-year-old Murfreesboro man to its Top 10 Most Wanted list and asked for the public’s help in finding him.

Chris Nachampasak is wanted on one count of first-degree murder after the Smyrna Police Department developed him as a suspect in the May 16, 2010, fatal shooting of Rachan Chatree, 14, during a graduation party on Lakewood Circle.

Police believe Nachampasak is a member of the Oriental Crip Gang and shot Chatree in a planned drive-by shooting.

Nachampasak’s whose last known address is 416 Castleview Court in Murfreesboro. He is described as an Asian male 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He has a shaved head and brown eyes, and also has the word “Bukgong” tattooed on one of his shoulders.

Police said Nachampasak should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call 1-800-TBI-FIND. A $1,000 reward is available for information leading to his arrest.
