Demeko “Meko” Duckworth, who is accused of murdering his girlfriend and her cousin in separate incidents, is set for a Wednesday morning court appearance.

Duckworth, 30, faces two counts of criminal homicide for allegedly fatally stabbing Asia Wade, 30, on July 20 and shooting Wade’s cousin Clarence Goins in the head the day before.

Duckworth surrendered to U.S. Marshals in a Walmart parking lot in Stone Mountain, Ga., a few days after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added him to its Top 10 Most Wanted list.

He is being held on $1 million bond on the criminal homicide charges, and also has a court date set next month for unrelated charges of drug possession and evading arrest.
