Nashville airport plans temporary traffic closures all week

If you’re flying out of Nashville International Airport this week, allow yourself a little extra time to get to both the long-term parking lot and the short-term parking garage.

Blasting associated with construction of the new consolidated rental car facility is scheduled three times daily (9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) through May, 14.

This blasting requires temporary 10-15-minute closures of traffic within Long Term A parking lot and impact entry into the Short Term parking garage as well

No flights will be delayed because of blasting or other construction work.
