U.S. Marshals arrested Nashville murder suspect Evan Knox in Portland, Ore., early Wednesday.

Metro homicide detectives believe Knox, 21, shot and killed 22-year-old Thomas Rutledge on May 30 while Rutledge drove his 4-year-old stepson around on a miniature four-wheeler in the J.C. Napier public housing development.

Rutledge, of Gillespie Drive in Antioch, died at the scene, but his stepson was uninjured. Knox fled the scene, and police said witnesses later identified him as the suspect.

Knox faces criminal homicide and attempted criminal homicide charges. Police expect Knox to be extradited to Nashville in the next several days. Neither Rutledge nor Knox was a resident of the J.C. Napier homes.

I'm glad they caught this POS. Now, do us all a favor. Exterminate this vermin. The people of TN shouldn't have to spend one thin dime for the up keep of his sorry butt. Use a rope. It's cheaper and we can reuse it again later.
