Nashville Sports Council begins year on high note

The Nashville Sports Council continues to build on its successes as it heads into 2001.

In 2000 the sporting events produced by the Sports Council had an economic impact of $24 million in Nash-ville. The Music City Bowl had an attendance of 47,119 and had an ESPN rating of 2.1, which means it aired in approximately four million households. The bowl had an economic impact of $10 million.
