I'm glad I have bread and milk already. Because the lunatics will be invading the grocery stores to buy it all up.

Lunatics? There are a lot of people who can't get around when it snows, so they go before it starts. I suggest that you wait and go after it starts, then you won't have to be bothered by those 'lunatics'.

I spent a week in Iowa last week, I guess the weather followed me. Sorry.

We went to the grocery last night and they were completely out of milk. So my question is, if you were stranded in your house for a week, why would you need milk?

Maybe all you people who think a couple inches of snow is a BIG DEAL should move up north for a while and LEARN how to get around in it. We'll start you off in a small storm of about 10" and work up from there. Then you need to replace the person who is charge of public works..that person don't have a clue. If you EVER got a serious storm (The word serious out of me means y'all in trouble) you'd BE IN TROUBLE!!! After I moved to California in the month of October and I worked in lumber yards in New England, I tried finding work at a lumber yard in Calif in October...They said to check back in the spring because work was slow. I asked why, they said because when it rains, construction slows down so workers don't get wet......................? HUH? WHAT? DON'T GET WET? What, y'all have CATS doing the jobs? C'mon man!

YUCKI, do us all a favor and stay up north. We do not get enough snow to justify purchasing numerous snow plows. Most of us do not complain when it snows here because it is beautiful. Schools should be closed because of the many hills and back roads. Why endanger the children by putting them on school buses on dangerous roads when it will not hurt them to miss a few days? Yes, you do have those who put money before the safety of their children and whine because they had to pay a babysitter an extra day. Yes times are hard, but they should use the same backup plan they have when their child is sick and can't go to school. Snow is beautiful and can be a lot of fun. For those who can't get around in it and need something, how about the rest of us helping them out.
