Cold Case Unit arrest suspect
Metro detectives assigned to the recently formed Cold Case Unit have made an arrest in the Jan. 25, 1995 shooting death of Maurice Williams.
Terrance Deran Robinson, 25, currently held in the Riverbend Maximum Security Prison on another crime, has been indicted by the Davidson County Grand Jury on a charge of first degree murder.
Williamson was shot multiple times while standing in the area of 9th Avenue North and Cheatham Place. The motive for the murder remains unknown.
Information from citizens over the past several weeks led detectives to seek the indictment against Robinson. The Cold Case Unit investigates hard-to-solve murders.
