National Poison Prevention Week

March 18-24 is National Poison Prevention Week, and organizers are hoping to reduce the poison-related deaths caused by a lack of safety at home.

Last year more than 16,000 Middle Tennessee children were harmed by poisonous materials found in the home. Poisoning is third on the list of leading causes of accidental deaths in children.
