A popular Murfreesboro Pike nightclub padlocked as a public nuisance in August was allowed to reopen this weekend under court-imposed restrictions.
Criminal Court Judge Mark Fishburn signed an order Friday stating that Silverado’s Dance Hall and Saloon had complied with restrictions laid out in a permanent injunction issued last month and therefore has been allowed to reopen.
As part of that injunction Silverado’s is required to close by 1 a.m. each Saturday through Monday and not later than midnight the rest of the week.
The club must also maintain adequate security guards, must not allow firearms inside the club other than by licensed security guards, must not offer discounted beer sales after 11 p.m. and must not allow its patrons to park off premises without written permission from other property owners.
Whew! Watch those tourism numbers climb...
