Pedestrian hit and dragged several blocks

Metro police tell News2 they are looking for the driver of a 1970s or ’80s model white pickup truck who hit a man and dragged him several blocks in East Nashville late Tuesday.

Officers say two men allegedly got into an argument at a market near Trinity Inn on Dickerson Pike, just off Trinity Lane around 9:45 p.m.

Witnesses tell police one man who appeared drunk got into his vehicle to leave and  appeared to intentionally hit the man with his pickup truck as he was leaving. The victim was dragged several blocks before he fell into the roadway.

According to police, the victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.
