Metro police SWAT team officers arrested the fifth and final suspect wanted in the September beating death of Brian Horton.

SWAT members took 39-year-old Ronald Sanderson into custody late Wednesday night after finding him at a home in the 1000 block of Granada Avenue.

Sanderson and the four other suspects face an indictment charging them with first-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping.

Police believe the men picked Horton up at Owendale Drive in Antioch and beat him in an attempt to get drug-related information out of him as they drove to north Nashville, where they dropped him off in the early morning hours of Sept. 21.

Officers began rounding up Sanderson, Curtis Lewis, Robert L. Carter Jr. and Antonio M. Bean after a grand jury last week handed down an indictment on the murder and kidnapping charges.

Horace King was already in jail on a felony probation violation charge.
