Three arrest warrants charging criminal homicide were issued Thursday against Craig A. Garber, 41, in the stabbing deaths of three of his neighbors Sunday.
Garber allegedly used a knife to kill a 14-year-old boy as well as the boy's mother and grandmother at their 808 Beech Bend Drive home in Bellevue last Sunday.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Garber stabbed himself shortly before officers arrived on the scene, and he was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he has been upgraded to stable condition.
Police spokesman Don Aaron said Garber will be jailed after his medical condition improves.
MNPD investigators worked four days processing an “extensive” crime scene. They completed work inside the home Wednesday.
