North Precinct detectives Wednesday night charged two women with criminal homicide for what police claim are their admitted roles in the robbery that led to Monday night’s shooting death of Jose Moya in the 200 block of Lovell Street.
Tara Adcock, 37, and Lashonda Williamson, 35, of Becklea Drive, were both interviewed by detectives Wednesday.
An arrest warrant charging criminal homicide has also been issued for Ewing Green, 18, of Florence Avenue, who, the investigation alleges, was also involved. Green is not yet in custody and is wanted.
Moya, 23, of Samoa Drive, was found critically wounded at 8:10 p.m. Monday in the 200 block of Lovell Street. He told officers that he was shot during a carjacking. Moya died during surgery. At least one of the female defendants was acquainted with him.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Green is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME. Citizens can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com.
