Police identify man hit by car, dragged several blocks

Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who ran over two men Tuesday night, critically injuring one, after an argument outside an East Nashville market.

Officers say two men allegedly got into an argument at a market near Trinity Inn on 1801 Dickerson Pike, just off Trinity Lane around 7:30 p.m.

Witnesses tell police the suspect, who appeared drunk got into his vehicle to leave and appeared to intentionally hit Shawn Hannah, 32, of Nashville, and Jason Bush, 33, of Lucille St., with his pickup truck as he was leaving. Hannah was dragged 400 feet; he was critically injured and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where is remains in stable condition. Bush suffered minor injuries.

The suspect was driving a white, 1980s pickup truck, police said.
