Staff reports

The driver who struck and fatally killed a Dickson man as he was walking across Trinity Lane early Thursday morning will likely not face charges, Metro police said.

Tracey Kinslow, 42, of Nocture Forest Drive, was driving his 1996 Honda Accord westbound in the 300 block of Trinity Lane at 12:15 a.m. when he struck George Young, 58.

Young died at the scene.

There was no evidence Kinslow was impaired or that speed was a factor, police said.

Kinslow should get life in prison for murder.

Was Mr. Young sleep walking, drunk.. or walking across the road in a walk zone? If not, was he simply, stupidly trying to out run the truck? One bad mistake.
