Metro Police have arrested one suspect in connection to a pair of early morning apartment fires in Madison.
Fire crews responded to Lexington Garden Apartments twice between 1 and 7 a.m. Monday. It was the third time officials had been called to the complex in the past couple of days.
The apartment where Monday's fire started along with the unit above it were destroyed.
Firefighters said the residents in one of the units that caught fire Monday had just moved from another unit in the complex because that unit also had caught fire.
Officials believe both of the blazes were set intentionally.
No information on the suspect has been released, but officials said charges are pending.
