Metro Police say Sunday night’s shooting of two West Tennessee men in the parking lot of Willow Point Apartments in south Nashville is believed to be drug related.
Relatives told police Alvin Howse and Clifton Broadway, both 35 and from Jackson, drove to Nashville to conduct a drug transaction.
Howse was shot in the upper body and died shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, police said. Broadway was hit in both legs and remains hospitalized.
The car in which Howse and Broadway are believed to have traveled, a black Nissan Maxima, was located early Monday at Hickory Trace Apartments, police said. The two may have walked to the nearby Willow Point complex on Hickory Hollow Terrace.
Anyone with information about the shooting, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
