Police searching for Broadway bank robber

Police want help identifying a man who robbed a Broadway bank early Thursday afternoon.

The suspect entered the U.S. Bank at 1711 Broadway around 1:15 p.m. He handed a teller a note stating that he had a weapon, and after getting cash from the teller, he fled in a silver Lexus driven by someone else.

Metro police described the suspect as a white man about 5-feet-9-inches tall weighing around 160 pounds with short brown hair. He wore eyeglasses and a teal short-sleeved shirt. He has tattoos on his left arm extending from his shoulder to his wrist.
