Metro Police are searching for a dark blue car – possibly a Ford Mustang – that was involved in a fatal crash early Monday morning on Interstate 24 near Harding Place.
All westbound lanes of I-24 were closed from 1 a.m. until about 6 a.m. as investigators worked to piece together details of the crash.
Police said a female driving an SUV lost control of her vehicle and crashed about 1 a.m. One person was ejected from the SUV.
A dark-colored car struck and killed the person who was ejected, but the driver did not stop, police said.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
