Staff reports

Detectives investigating a Thursday morning robbery at a Family Dollar store are looking for the public’s help identifying the suspected gunman.

Metro police described the suspect as a 5-foot-10-inch Hispanic man who weighs about 200 pounds and has a green tattoo with wings on the back of his shaved head.

The suspect robbed the Family Dollar at 1152 Gallatin Pike just after 10 a.m. Thursday, pointing a gun at a store clerk and demanding cash. He fled the scene in a small, brown four-door car.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the suspect to call North Precinct detectives at 862-7901 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.

A guy with a green tattoo/w wings on the back of his shaved head? I would think that he shouldn't be that hard to spot or SOMEBODY surely knows him who needs reward money.

cjbwhite1, yes, he knows someone who needs the money. The question is: Can they read English; do they read the paper? And Nitzche, yes, they read them and No, they don't comment. It is too painful for them to speak out against their own kind! LOL
